Yes, for once I'm in a really really REALLY good mood~!

Let it be known, that on March 22, 2003, I defeated the game of Final Fantasy VIII!
A little background-- when I started playing, I was expecting it to be a piece of crap; everyone I know who's in to the games of FF I am (Like 4, 5, 6, 9) said VIII sucked. I got it for my birthday last December upon request; I wanted it only 'cause it was a Final Fantasy game, and I'd like to play through the whole series. Anyway, I started playing and loved it by the thrid disk (it took me a while to adjust to the freaky system x.x).
I beat it tonight. Of the other FFs I've beaten (7, 9, 10), I have to say that this had the best ending. (Though 9 was really really good, too.) The whole thing was CG-- very impressive, considering even the minor characteres were shown. Raijin and Fujin looked awesome! ^-^ Also, it covered what happened to everybody in the same way... and I loved the scenes with Laguna and Raine. ;_; Raine was so cool.

I'll admit, it's not my favorite game of the series, but I like the ending the best. (Zell choking on hotdogs!) Also, I LOVE watching Squall in the FMVs... you can really tell they took his facial features from Gackt. ^o^ He's soooo pretty. Yes, and Laguna. I really like Laguna now, too. And Irvine is just a dork XD What a pimp.

Anyhow. I just had to vent my excietment. This is the first Final Fantasy I've beaten on the first go with the end boss! ... so I'm pretty happy.

anyway, i haven't played all the way through ffviii, but my cousin has. it's really freaky to watch squall smiles O_O i don't know why..

and you're kuja XD the one chara that took both me and my sister to figure out if he was a guy or a girl. the hips threw us off, man..

	Well, I was actually trying to create a template to start on my next layout, and I guess DJ's new layout system automatically switched it to whatever that ugly blue thing was. o.o; Anyway. I'll be working on that at some point. Blargh. (Kuja has boobs! o_O;; I watched the FMV recently, and it really looks that way... He is a Genome, though, so it'd make sense.) (Reply to this)
